(R3) William Pennefather. Second son of (R1) Richard Pennefather and Charity Graham. Major 5th Dragoon Guards. MP for Cashel. Married Eleanor Moore, daughter of Venerable Moore of Moorefort, Co. Tipperary. Died 1819. Had issue.

[NOTE: (R3) William and (W4) Thomas of Marlow appear to have married sisters, both girls the daughters of Venerable Moore. Both men then had sons named Edward. This has resulted in the two Edwards, who were first cousins, being confused for one another. DHP]
