(R93) Edward Graham Pennefather, Lieut. Colonel Inskilling Fuseliers.
Commander Rhodesian Pioneers. The first person to plant the Union Jack in
Rhodesia. Also the first person to successfully take horses across the line
from Australia to India. [Further details see notes on the family by Rev
James.] Head of Singapore Police. Died in South Africa 29th April 1919.
Born in 1850 he married Mary Crompton and had issue:

(R95) John Broderick.
(R96) Edward Mathew.
1. Mary, married Robert Gibbings.
At least one of these sons appears to have settled in South Africa.
