Note: The Commonwealth War Graves Commission record the following burial. Isobel Veronica Pennefather who died on Thursday, 15th March 1945. Age 48. Of Sembrong Estate, Layang, Johore, Malaya. Daughter of the late Matthew and Isabel Clarke; wife of Edward Matthew Pennefather, at Muntok, Banka Island. Cemetery: Sumatra, Section of the Civilian War Dead Register.3
